Marta was inspired to write Little Gray's Great Migration based on an experience at Point Reyes National Seashore, where she is a volunteer.

She will do two readings and whale talks (11 a.m. and 12 p.m.) at the Bear Valley Visitor Center at Point Reyes National Seashore before heading out to the Point Reyes Lighthouse to look for migrating gray whale mothers and calves.
