Earth Day Family Storytime and Whale Talk at the San Francisco Public Library (West Portal)

Celebrate Earth Day by learning about one of the earth’s most fascinating animals: the Pacific gray whale.

Marta will read her children’s book Little Gray’s Migration, the story of a baby gray who must follow his mother on an epic 5000-mile migration from Mexico to Alaska.

After the story, Marta will give a fun, interactive presentation for kids and grownups alike to learn about the Pacific gray whale. The timing for this talk is ideal as it is right in the midst of whale watching season here along the California coast.
